NIVEA
Spending 3 years designing for a multi-national company like Nivea was an invaluable experience to me as a designer. My work for Nivea was to develop a design language that would help them find brand uniformity and consistency, while also helping the consumer find the products they need by being more visible on shelf. We also needed to help Nivea become more sustainable by reducing the amount of plastic used per bottle and keeping all materials fully recyclable. Our intention was the respect the legacy of this 100 year old company while also simplifying the form with bold gestures and a human touch. It was an incredible and fulfilling challenge to work across different categories without forgetting the larger brand picture. During those 3 years, I had the opportunity to travel to Hamburg and work directly with their marketing and engineering teams, as well as their manufacturer.

BODY
My first contribution when joining the team under Yves and Noah's direction, the body lotion bottle was the first bottle we redesigned with the new logo. The iconic shape started the design language.
IN SHOWER
The in shower line is composed of the body lotion and the make up remover. The usability inside the shower and a thick product were the challenges we had to resolve to keep a pleasent experience for the consumer.
CREME
Care is a new creme by Nivea. This fast absobtion creme is the newest addition to the Nivea creme family alongside classics like the tin jar and nivea soft. We wanted to create a modern and elegant packaging that symbolizes this innovative formula.
HAIR CARE
Redesigning the hair care line was a more delicate project because of the history that the previous bottles had with consumers. The goal was the update the bottles while maintaining clarity and consolidate the existing design language.
